Getting started
Installing a script
The steps every L3TH script shares. Each script's own page adds its items and settings.
These steps are the same for every L3TH script. Do them once, then check your script's own page for its items and any extra dependencies.
#Install ox_lib
Every L3TH script needs
ox_lib. Download the latest release and put it in your resources folder.github.com/CommunityOx/ox_lib/releases
ImportantDownload the release zip (
ox_lib.zipunder Assets), not Code → Download ZIP. The source code version has no built menus, so progress bars and menus won't show.#Check what else your script needs
Most scripts also use a target, an inventory and notifications, and some need a group system, vehicle keys or a doorlock.
oxandqbversions work out of the box. Your script's page lists exactly what it supports and how to plug in your own.#Add the items
Most scripts come with items that have to exist in your inventory. Your script's page has them ready to copy.
- Items go in
ox_inventory/data/items.lua - Images go in
ox_inventory/web/images

qb-core/shared/items.lua - Images go in

#Put the folder in your resources
Drop the script's folder into your server's resources folder (usually
resources). Category folders in brackets likeresources/[l3th]are fine.Keep the folder name as it is, and make sure
fxmanifest.luasits directly inside it, not one folder deeper.#Start it in server.cfg
Add the script to
server.cfg, after everything it depends on:server.cfgensure ox_lib ensure ox_target ensure ox_inventory ensure l3th-minerjob#Set it up and restart
Settings live in the script's config files (in
configs/for most scripts). Change what you like, then restart the server so the new items and settings load.
Uploading with FTP? Use binary transfer mode, or the protected files can get damaged on the way. See Common problems.
