Updating a script

Updates are free. How to get the latest version without losing your settings.

Updates and fixes are free for everyone who owns a script. Update notes are posted on our Discord and in the changelog on each product page in the store.

1. #Download the latest version

   Open Granted Assets and download the script again. You always get the newest version.

2. #Back up your settings

   Copy your config files somewhere safe before you replace anything: the configs/ folder (shared/ for Fleeca Heist), and locales/ if you changed any texts.

3. #Replace the folder

   Stop the server, delete the old script folder and put the new one in its place, with the same name.

4. #Bring your settings back

   Copy your changes into the new config files. Don't just paste your old files over the new ones: an update can add new settings, and an old file would be missing them.

5. #Check the update notes and restart

   If the update notes mention new items, add them to your inventory. Then start the server.
